Karratha Visitor Centre first port of call for information about Karratha and surrounds. Helpful and friendly they gave me a top 10 places to see in Karratha and surrounds. There's also an excellent hilltop walk that starts there and leads to a lookout over Karratha.
Very helpful, plenty of info and souvenirs. Pleasant atmosphere. Coffee shop attached but didn't try it.

A great visitor centre with plenty of brochures, souvenirs, gifts and books for sale. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local attractions. I highly recommend visiting the Aboriginal Rock Art sites, you can get maps and information about the sites here.
